Not just cats…..

If  in addition to being a cat owner, you also have other small animals such as guinea pigs , rabbits or chickens etc, then we can also care for them  in their own surroundings whilst you are away .

There is a small additional charge per day  for this service, please contact us to discuss your requirements.

During a pet sitting booking, in addition to looking after your pet(s), we will also keep an eye on your property - including things like picking up the post, putting the rubbish bins out and watering your plants (unless you have Kew Gardens!).

All this is part of the service offered at Claws’N’ Paws.

How it works

When you make an enquiry with us, you will not be put under any pressure to provide details, more importantly, you will not be 'badgered' to book with us.

If you decide to make a booking, we will visit you to carry out a complimentary home visit.  This is so we can meet each other, you can ask any questions you may have and for us to meet your pet(s).

As part of the home visit we also obtain vet details, confirm any medication needs and emergency contact numbers.

This is so we have all the information that we may need during the booking and means we don’t need to disturb you on your holiday unless we need to!

If you have not already done so, please see our cat sitting page.

FAQ

How much does a visit  cost?

For a cat visit in Whiteley, prices  start from £8.00, with visits outside of Whiteley costing slightly more.  However as each booking is as individual as your pet(s), the price charged will reflect your requirements.  Please note, we do not charge mileage or  extra for weekend visits as long as they form part of a longer booking.  There is also a small additional charge for visits made on bank holidays.

Who will be doing the visits?

All your visits will be carried out by the same person, who will  also carry out the booking consultation.  That way you get to meet who is entering your property, you can discuss the arrangements for feeding, medication etc and they meet your pet(s) before the booking starts.  It also means that during the booking, your pet(s) get to know the same person is coming in , particularly helpful for elderly or nervous pets.

How will my keys be handled?

When we hold customers keys, they are  kept on a separate key ring which does not contain any reference to you, your address or your pets name. All that’s on the key ring is our contact number, that way only  Claws’n’Paws knows which key belongs to  which address and pet.  We also take our care of your keys very seriously, they are kept securely  and separate from your other booking details.

How can I make payments?

Claws’n’Paws welcomes payment by either  cash, cheque or phone/online banking.   At the end of your booking we will leave you an invoice for the balance owed (or as a receipt if you have already arranged  or made payment).

I worry about my pets when I am away, can I contact you?

We realise that being away from your furry (or feathered) loved ones can be difficult, so we are more than happy to reassure you that all’s well.  Feel free to drop us an email or text and we will be more than happy to put your mind at rest.
